Make your own healthy Almond Butter!

While we all love a good nut butter the ones found in supermarkets can be full of sugar and preservatives and the ones without all the sugar and preservatives are extremely pricey, especially the “exotic” nut butters like almond butter and hazelnut butter.

Instead of spending 5 Euro on a jar of nut butter why not try this 2 ingredient recipe for almond butter, its sugar free, lactose free and gluten free! and of course delicious! All you need is a food processor and you’re ready to roll!





1 Packet of almonds

A pinch of salt


1. Place the almonds on an oven tray and put in a hot oven set to 200 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes

2. Remove the almonds from the oven and place all of them into a food processor

3. Add a pinch of salt to the food processor and blend until smooth

4. Leave to cool and enjoy!

It will depend on your food processor how long the nuts will take to become completely smooth
